So this is NOT what I have ever said in any of the trainings I’ve done over the years. But that is what people hear when I start to talk about white supremacy culture, or ask folks to dig deeper into a statement, or to listen from a different perspective. I have watched defensiveness show up so many times I can see it before it happens. I can literally tell you when it will be the response.
